How often do we have our activities?

We aims to have activities at least once a month for our members, it could be in the form of meetings, trainings, talks, seminars, business networking and gathering.
When do we organize our activities?

Most of our activities are after office hours and in the weekends. And meetings will be on the weekdays in the evenings.
When organizing project, do I have to find my own team?

What you do is you ask around members to help you, number one. Number two, if you think you can bring your friends in, wonderful! People are your friends, that you share the same interest and all that, wonderful! Get them in.
When organizing project, do my team have to consist of all JCI members?

In JCI, we want to give the opportunities of learning to our members first. You should first solicit the help from existing members, if you think that you got a problem, and then you want to talk to your friends, no problem.
When organizing project, do I have to solicit funding on my own? Or Do JCI have budget for all these projects?

Preferably you got to look for your own funding. However, if you think you got a little bit of problems, we may be able to help.
When organizing project, what are some of the things I need to know?
In running a project, there are few things you need to know, these are what we called the project dynamics. First thing, you must know
1. What’s the Objectives of having the project
2. Establish project goals
3. Consider the project team. (Who are going to be in your team)
4. Consider the budgets.
5. Plan of actions for the project
These are basically the five things you need to know
How much do I have to pay for JCI courses?

For JCI Member, if we can arrange it free we’ll arrange it free. However sometimes we need to pay for rental of place, food and beverages and some miscellaneous expenses. Usually it’ll range from RM20 to RM50 ringgit depending on the type of projects. But it’ll not be very expensive. Every effort has been made to keep the cost down for our members.
How much time should I set aside to achieve what I want to achieve in this organization?

Whenever there is time, whenever we have trainings, if you think that is relevant to you, make time for it. Our trainings could be half a day; our trainings could be one day, make time for it, if you think it’s important to you. If you think chairing a meeting effectively is very important to you as a manger, I think by hook or by crook, you should find the time.
What’s the different between JCI and BNI?

Basically we are a volunteering organization. It very much depends on what you are looking for. BNI is basically Business Networking. JCI also have our own Business Networking, our way, we’re a bit different from BNI. However in addition to Business Networking, we also have Career Developments, Community Service, International Contacts and Project Planning.
